About Our Pastor
Bishop George K. Horton is a uniquely gifted and powerful preacher, teacher, and leader who for nearly 20 years has utilized a holistic approach in ministering to the needs of family, congregation, and community.
A native of Zebulon NC, he is the youngest of five children born to the late Romas and Naomi Horton. He is married to the former Gloria Taylor.
Bishop Horton joins St. John following nearly 20 years of pastoring New Fellowship Baptist Church in Clinton, Maryland.
